sleep (not so) tight

I could've posted this about 2 weeks ago ... another creation that 'whipped' up ... I made one similar to this probably a year or so ago for Mr Kai ... but he grew out of it ... the first one that I made for him was much more high tech - zipper & buttons etc. ... even an extra layer of blanket to go on the top (zippered along the edges - so it could be removed on 'not-so-cold' nights - with the start of the zipper being at the bottom of course so a certain 'sleeping' someone couldn't get at it). This one - was something that I quickly completed in an hour or so ... from what I hear he seems to be sleeping - hope you're sleeping warmly Kai!

Angels

so less than a week ago I noticed that we had now entered 'winter' ... and the snow that was falling over the period of a few days wasn't going to be going very far ... so here's our house in the 'winter' ... yup ... that's about what it looks like - and that's about what it's been looking like for the last week or so ... so while I was out taking this pic ... I looked out our front window before I took it upon myself to get all dressed up etc ... and much to my surprise I was led to believe that an angel had visited our house! It's true ... take a look ...

Just a Tree

It probably looks like a 'normal tree' to most people - but I made a quick trip to London Friday night - and my eyes seem to get drawn to this tree every time I pass it on my way to London - the tree is about a 10 minute drive from our house - through the 'back way' ... I'll be interested to see it in the coming months as the seasons change ...

Expectation / Belief

Being of Old English origin and holding the meaning: "expectation;belief". I think of you today, Hope. And I thank God for the influence that you have brought to many of our lives. I pray that God will be close to your family today (and every day - but especially today). Thank you for reminding us that there is more than this earth to look forward to - a greater goal to keep our eyes focused on - a prize that our little minds still can't fully grasp.

It did snow

Well - it took a while to come (not that I'm complaining) but it wasn't looking like winter here for a long time ... and then for about three days we had some falling of snow - and this is what we were left with - this pic was taken yesterday - and since then there's even more melting going on - so who knows we might be able to see our grass again in a few days!
