Winning All

A quick trip to the coffee shop with a friend ... and this quote interrupts our conversation? It didn't really interrupt ... it just caught my eye as Carole laid her cup down on the table after taking a sip of her second cup of coffee. She didn't drink the first one - it wasn't made the way that she had ordered it ... so? was it meant to be that she had to get another coffee and this is what was on the cup ... was I supposed to be caught in my tracks today?

Fun In The Sun

Today we (Susan and I) decided to trek through some mud and spend a little time outside. It was a nice day ... and even in the midst of walking through the mud - it was nice to just take a peek every-now-and-then and capture in my mind a SNAPSHOT of those wonderful mountains that God saw to creating so majestically. The boys had a good time too ... just being boys ...

Guess Who!

I won't update you on ALL that has happened since last Tuesday ... but in a nutshell - I went to Edmonton last Tuesday - not many people knew I was doing that ... then I surprised my folks on Friday when they came to Edmonton (not expecting me to interrupt supper) - then I got a free ride with them to Cowtown on Sunday ... so since then - I've been feelin' at home again in Cowtown.

So ... today I had the privilege of hangin' out with two great boys! Mommy had a few things to take care of this morning so we stayed out of trouble as best as we could ... Joshua made sure that Caleb stayed hydrated (since he's suffering from a bit of a cold) ... and Caleb - well, he just made sure he stayed cute for the day ... you'll see a pic of 'swing time' below - that was supposed to turn into 'nap time' it never did ... but we had fun learning about Noah's Ark! ... and eating snacks! ... and making our white shirt not so white!

Anyways, I do believe a good time was had by all today ... thanks boys (and Susan)

Not to forget - a part of my travels today including visiting 'music class', dropping by GT (which meant I saw Cheryl, Fred & Wendy), visiting Gramma's (who just so happen to provide lunch - thanks Sylvia), and some show-homing!

windy and cold

On Saturday we had a quick stop in Nassau - talk about RUN around just to see a few sites - SO crazy ... Nassau was a nice 'arriving' spot ... nice landscape - I kept my camera up and running the whole time we were coming into port ... a little cooler here though - especially when we were in the water with the stingrays ... the wind was up and the water was cooler that what we had experienced in previous ports. Guess that's what happens when you head north!

So we spent Friday at sea ... we took in an ice show on the ship and kept ourselves quite busy for the day ... we even went to the Chefs Buffet Galla at some crazy hour in the night!

A few firsts

So FIRST we got off our ship (the Explorer) and got aboard THE BOSS in St Thomas

We then found ourselves getting on/in one of these things for the FIRST time ever and scooting around underwater

Today was also the FIRST time that ma & pa experience snorkeling in the open-water

Today was NOT the FIRST time we went to the buffet!
