on a jet-plane

I'm leavin' on a jet-plane ...
do de do de do ...
don't know when I'll blog again
and so the song goes ...
Well folks, this is it ... time to bite the bullet ... I'm about to leave what I have called home for eight or so years (which for me is a LONG time) ... well I'd prefer not to say that I'm leaving it ... so those of you that just got excited and thought "yes! she's finally outta here" ... don't jump the gun so fast ... I plan on being back here (Calgary and yes, dare I say Edmonton) tonnes - even if it is just for visits - I'll take what I can get - but rest assured near the top of my prayer list is a move back to Calgary! So I'll be on the plane tonight and arriving at the new home tomorrow morning sometime - after I've picked up my car (which I've missed over the last few weeks).
So back to this blog thing - I don't know when I'll blog next - you see I'll first of all have to find a computer in the midst of a tonne of boxes and then on top of that the house itself will need to get connected to the internet ... and even when all that has taken place I just might have a few boxes that will need my attention before a blog will ... now how silly is that eh? Anyways, I will keep in touch - even if it is just briefly after things start to take shape again in ... hmm ... what shall we call it ... my world ...
Toodles for now ...

Moves are not always easy....but you have proven yourself in the past - you were always the best with moving. This is another important chapeter in your life..it will be good for you and Scott. There is always another Calgary out there...you will find it and that too will be an important part of your life.

I should have found time to have said this before, but we will miss you Shawna. I will miss seeing you at all of the Army events and having the weird kind of cousin relationship that we have!! Best of luck with everything...I'm sure you're new house will feel like home before long!
