marching along

So today we seemed to concentrate on our marching skills ... and well, others wanted to get involved ... you'll find Mr Goulding gets into the marching and you'll see Caleb trying out the cornet and moving on to the cymbols. The theme carried on throughout the day.

there's nothing like brothers playing together

A Tim's break was needed - I don't know who needed it more ... Mr Goulding or Joshua? Caleb got stuck with me - he didn't seem too concerned - but did try his best 15 month old "why can't I have anything out of the fridge" look ... it didn't work to well - I'm not as 'soft' as some of you might think! Not to worry - Joshua didn't forget his brother and returned with a surprise from Tim's for him!
Since marching and playing his cornet seemed so important to Joshua, I felt it was time we got a cornet case for him. That is what we set out to do ... and as you can see - once the project was completed it didn't seem to leave his sight! I think that means it was a hit!

Well .. what can I say? Uumm .. I believe it was a fun day! So talented might I say .. I think Joshua should have taken his cornet to church this morning .. seeing there was a march. He would have liked that and some of us would have been impressed. :) Maybe one day, eh?

It was great to have a 'free' Friday and have special friends make a visit - that gave the opportunity for Tim's. Of course, it got me to practise my marching for the Stampede.
