good news!

Hey folks! Just wanted to remind you (or inform you- depending on who you are) of some Good News today! God's at work ... He's been at work for quite some time ...

William O. Cushing wrote this song [When He Cometh] a 'few' years ago - it is said to be on the verse in Malachi 3:17 which says, "And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels;..."

When He cometh, when He cometh
To make up His jewels,
All His jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.

Like the stars of the morning,
His bright crown adorning,
They shall shine in their beauty,
Bright gems for His crown.

He will gather, He will gather
The gems for His kingdom:
All the pure ones, all the bright ones,
His loved and His own.

Little children, little children,
Who love their Redeemer,
Are the jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.

From what I can tell - God's gotta pretty good crown in the works - the question I have for you is, have you secured a 'spot' in that crown? (Not sure how to get in on this crown 'action' ... send me a note! I wouldn't want you to miss out on this - just because you didn't know!)

Hey Everyone,

This is a very special piece of music ... and a special day! Not only special because of the words, and what it represents, but listen to the music clip ... that's an awesome job Shawna did on that cornet solo!
